This adorable baby just got welcomed into the world by a colorful Cockatiel. The bird chirped and whistled its favorite song as if serenading the cute baby, assuring the child of his friendship.
Who doesn’t like music? It’s been a part of this world since it began. In every corner and every culture, music gives life its magic. Even infants respond to it and they don’t know what it is!
This colorful bird inches closer to the blue-eyed baby letting out few warm up notes before eventually going full song.
The two week old baby boy has his focus on the singing bird, seemingly enraptured by the sweet melody filling his tiny ears. It really is music to the ears. Great tune!
Viewer Call Me Falcone said,
“the fact that this bird can reconize this very precious baby form of a human and recognize to sing to him or her is incredible.”
It’s a comment that’s gotten 1.4k likes which means they all agreed!
Cockatiels are members of the cockatoo family, and these birds are funny and very outgoing. In fact, they are so favored that they have become America’s favorite bird pet.
Cockatiels are also talented whistlers as you’ve just witnessed. Male cockatiels in particular are known for their whistle serenades, which can be directed at their favored person, their favorite object or their mirror reflection.
Guess who this bird’s favored person is.
They come in bright colors so even though they are small parrots, an owner can always claim to have a unique bird. That is until another one with the same kind pops up. Whistle fight!
On the other end of this encounter is a baby boy who is really enjoying the song.
Babies have good hearing immediately after birth and they are just taking in all the sounds they can handle. Exposing them to good music helps their development overall. You never know what sorts of potential are hidden in that tiny human.
Look at this baby boy all wide eyed and curious! That’s an awesome tune alright!
Talk about cuteness overload. This bird’s whistling skills put most humans to shame. Not everyone has that gift but this little feathered thing’s carrying that song like a pro!
Another viewer had this to say,
“I usually don’t comment on these things, but DAMN – this is the most adorable thing I’ve seen in a long time. Between the cockatiel’s nonstop song TO baby and baby just taking it all in… I don’t know WHO’S more adorable!!”
It certainly stops the world around you and makes one smile.
Cockatiels are also called quarrions or weiros. They were discovered in 1770 but are no longer allowed to be trapped and exported from Australia. These gentle and friendly birds make for great pets especially for small apartments.
They are intelligent and respond well to humans. This baby should be around seven now. Let’s hope he’s got his own pet and that he sings to it. Or maybe even a duet!
