One day, Michigan-based artist Emma Ward was hanging out with her pet chameleon Olive. As Emma played with Olive, she came to a brilliant realization: chameleons will hold onto anything that you give them. Emma gave her chameleon some tiny props, and she posted the photos on Twitter.

The adorable images of the chameleon holding various objects quickly went viral.

After the Tweet went viral, Emma explained the idea behind her photos to Chron.com:

“Knowing she likes to grasp anything that goes in her hands, I thought Lego swords and Evangelion weapons would be an interesting idea.”

It turns out, it’s not just chameleons who will hold onto any object you give them: flying squirrels do the same thing!
