I love soldier reunion videos, especially when they are between a soldier and his pet. Their bond is an unspoken one yet just as treasured, and it is so heartwarming to see cats and dogs alike express their genuine happiness upon seeing their beloved human home again.
Now, if you have had unpleasant encounters with cats in the past, you may find it hard to believe that cats can be sweet and affectionate – especially when there is many video evidence out there that proves the contrary.
Well, this little kitty will show that cats can be just as affectionate and caring and dogs.
Finn the Ragdoll, also known as Finners or ‘Ners, is a beautiful and fluffy long haired cat.
Finn stars in this 1 minute and 33-second long video that has been viewed over 12 million times.
As Finn eagerly meows and meows, the woman recording the video says, “Who’s coming? Do you hear him?”
Second after long second seems to pass. You can hear some movement out the door, such as a shuffling downstairs, and then footsteps gradually make their way up the stairs.
The woman then says, “It’s Daddy, isn’t it?” And Finn reacts excitedly, definitely sensing that his dad is coming home soon.
Finally, Nick, Finn’s soldier dad, comes in, and Finn smells his belongings and paces around her dad.
When Nick opens his arms up to greet Finn, the kitty doesn’t hesitate to leap into her dad’s arms!
Another cat does make a cameo appearance, known as Boo the Siamese. Even Boo wanted to give her soldier dad a nice homecoming.
But the spotlight is all on Nick and Finn, who happily purrs and snuggles her favorite human.
This touching video reached the hearts of millions of people, even turning dog lovers into cat lovers as well!
Finn’s antics don’t stop there. He’s just a lovable, goofy cat all around!
Overall, I’m glad that Nick returned safe and sound and got to be reunited with Finn and his girlfriend (who was recording the video).
Please SHARE this happy reunion with your friends and family!
