Dogs are a lot of things.
They are cute, funny, cozy, and friendly… Oftentimes, they are also hungry and feisty or sleepy. However, they aren’t exactly the smartest.
Sure, sometimes they have their moments and can actually exhibit some serious intelligence, but they also have plenty of moments where they do, well, the exact opposite of that. They can end up being a massive help to their owners, but then sometimes you can find them ripping up an expensive piece of furniture or going number 2 in your favorite pair of shoes.
When it comes down to it, we love our pups.
No matter how much brainpower they have. Because in the end, they are adorable and they make us laugh pretty dang hard.
One day, a Bulldog named Khaleesi was watching TV when suddenly a cheetah appeared on the screen.
The Bulldog was certainly not happy when he saw the intimidating animal come into play, so he immediately sat up and puffed up his chest, in an attempt to scare the cheetah off. What made it even funnier was that Khaleesi actually began to bark at the TV screen.
Khaleesi clearly thought that this was a real-life cheetah standing before him in the flesh, because he jumped into protector mode. He refused to let this wild cat be a threat to his home and his family, so he immediately began to bark his head off!
As he was barking, it almost seemed like he was calling his sister Bulldog, Elvis, downstairs to help him fight this pretend fight.
So when Khaleesi was already a few barks in, Elvis — who is even bigger than Khaleesi — waddled down the stairs and sat down on the couch as she watched what exactly what was going on between Khaleesi and the TV screen.

Khaleesi continued to bark and eventually, Elvis joined in, too. Now Khaleesi was right up at the screen and Elvis was on the couch, and they were both barking in unison.
Just look at this situation.
If you take a step back and look at this situation, it is pretty hilarious. Out of no where, these two pups are just sitting in the living room together and barking like crazy together… At an animal that isn’t even real.
This is exactly what we mean when we say dogs aren’t always the smartest. Sure, they absolutely have their moments, but then sometimes they get riled up at a TV.
You just can’t always predict how pups are going to react to something! Oftentimes, dogs will even react to other strange noises on TV, like ambulance sirens, screaming, or other alarming noises.
There is a bright side to this funny dog trait, though!
It’s funny that they think these things are real threats but it’s also good because that makes us feel protected in our own homes! If this is how they respond to strange noises on the TV, just imagine how their extra-strong Spide-y senses must come in handy if you are ever in real danger at home.
We trust these two feisty Bulldogs have got their owners’ backs, that is for sure!
