Tiny rescued Frenchie is a master complainer and sassy as heck
Boo beat the odds of survival and still has an attitude. It's absolutely precious, though. 😂

When the super tiny, super-cute French Bulldog Boo made his debut, dog lovers everywhere let out a collective squeal.

The itty bitty dog was brought to NorCal Bully Breed Rescue (NBBR) after being born with a canine cleft palate. This left the tiny pooch with an abnormal opening in the roof of his mouth resulting in an opening between the nasal passages and the mouth.

He also suffered from pneumonia in his early days, however, was luckily treated with the assistance of NBBR.

Boo may have been born with some challenges but that never stopped him from thriving.

From the very first videos and pictures uploaded to the rescue center’s Facebook page, Boo was a star. His sweet face and loud squeak garnered him instant fans. The rescue center received numerous requests to adopt Boo.

However, it ended up being the Executive Director of NBBR, Leslie Bird, who later gave the puppy a forever home. We don’t blame her for not wanting to part with this little bundle of personality.

His signature squeal let his foster mom know exactly how he was feeling.

Boo became known early on for his mega-cute squeak.

Support started rolling in immediately for Boo.

NBBR is an amazing organization and its followers know it. Donations were sent to the rescue center to help with Boo’s medical and foster care expenses. Supporters received updates about Boo’s health and wellbeing and of course some extremely cute online content of Boo being Boo.

Leslie Bird and the rest of the rescue center were so appreciative of the ongoing support for Boo.

In one of her original posts about the little guy, she gushed over how well he was doing despite his rough start in life.

“His name is Bugatti, AKA – Boo for short. Words cannot express our gratitude to everyone who donated towards Boo’s emergency hospitalization and care. Thank you to all of you for the kind words, messages and thoughts. I think we did it and I think this tiny cherub is going to grow up to be a perfect example as to why cleft palate puppies and puppies/dogs with disabilities deserve a fighting chance.” – Leslie Bird, NorCal Bully Breed Rescue

As Boo got stronger, so did his awesome personality.

With playmates at home and a loving caregiver, his vulnerable days were behind him. Now it was all about playing, sleeping and of course, stealing hearts.

We just can’t get enough of Boo’s little squeaks.

In a hilarious video posted by NBBR, the adorable Frenchie tilts his head curiously as Bird asks him how he is doing. He finally responds with a tiny squeak.

Boo gets a bestie.

It wasn’t long before another furry friend named Po joined the pack. Although Po was now the baby of the family, they soon became two peas in a pod. NBBR shares updates about this duo on the regular.
