With the age of smartphones with ever-improving cameras, it seems like everybody is suddenly an amateur photographer.

How many Instagram accounts have you seen with glossy images that look good enough to be featured in Vogue, but meanwhile it takes you 30 attempts to get one half-decent selfie? How often have you spotted something that would make the perfect photograph – a gorgeous sunset, a rainbow, a cute animal, or even just your morning cup of coffee – but then when you eventually take the picture, it’s just not an accurate representation of the real-life product. At all.

For those of you who can relate to this, we’ve found an awesome page that celebrates the worst pics of the bunch, and it’s in a category that is usually taken so seriously: wildlife photography. That’s right, there’s a Facebook page called ‘Cr*p Wildlife Photography,’ and it’s the best thing we’ve seen all day. It basically allows users to submit their terribly awesome wildlife pics, and we thought we’d share the best, worst ones in here to brighten up your day.

‘The majestic mountain gazelle’

To be completely honest, we’re not entirely sure what’s happening in this picture – in fact, the longer we look at it, the stranger it seems. It appears that the photographer has accidentally intruded on some kind of Gazelle dance party, and the only thought we have in our heads is ‘wtf is happening here?’

‘Poetic justice!’

Because who wouldn’t want to see a picture of a squirrel falling from a bird feeder? (P.S. No squirrels were harmed in the making of this pic.)
