They may be bears but Giant Pandas are mild and actually often lazy. These mammals grow to around four feet tall and weigh in at 3oo pounds. They have an insatiable appetite for bamboo. You’ll find these black and white gentle giants in the remote, mountainous regions of China.

Loss of habitat, poaching, and the fact that females only ovulate once a year are reasons why these animals are endangered. There are a lot of organizations dedicated to the preservation of these mammals which people can actually visit to see how these animals behave.

They’re very funny.

Take this cub for example. No one knows how or why but the furry one is just sitting in a puddle of water. He’s having one of those days. We get it. But it’s not like he’s got any reason to be stressed or tired!

Honestly, it’s like he just spends his days eating and bathing anyway. And in these parks, these pandas even have people who are employed to care for them and provide them with all their needs.

Look at his nanny!

Maybe she’s there to feed or bathe the cuddly creature but the panda’s beaten her to it. She watches him for awhile before she squats down to bathe the adorable animal. Did he ask her to give him a bath?

It’s a natural tub.

The cub lets his caretaker scrub him lightly for awhile, even giving off a few cute poses in the process. He is so cute, a viewer says.

“Sometimes, I feel Pandas are the best thing ever happened on earth.”

And they may very well be. Who needs a pandemic when we could have a panda-mic? We’re all for it.

They do look like bears but their personalities are actually more similar to dogs. At least the ones bred in captivity. They don’t shy away from humans, even grabbing on to a caretaker’s legs and playing a few games with them. It’s like your very own breathing stuffed toy!

Another viewer observed,

“It’s cute how the panda just fell back into the puddle when the nanny move away.”

Maybe she was done or maybe she had to go and get shampoo and soap. The panda looked like it wanted to grab on to his caretaker but she moved so quickly before the cub could hold on. What does he do instead? Fall back and sit down.

Lazy doesn’t mean useless.

These pandas are fantastic climbers. Don’t let those fluffy looks fool you. They can climb really high. And you know what else? They can swim! Though they may look like floating balls of fur on the surface. Pandas are great! Except for the kung fu part.

Pandas are famous and it’s all because of those cute features.

People flock to zoos, breeding centers, conservation parks, and the like just to see these gentle bears go about their day. They really are lazy but there is always a moment or two of comedy from the pandas.

This cub must be feeling so refreshed after that bath. And to think he didn’t have to do much but sit there and look cute.
