Physically, otters are typically small, characterized by short ears and noses, elongated bodies, and lengthy tails.

Their most remarkable trait is their incredibly dense fur, which stands out as the densest among all animals.

In some areas, they boast up to a million hairs per square inch!

Another intriguing aspect of otters is their distinctively odorous feces, so unique that it’s termed “spraints.”

As per National Geographic, the peculiar scent of their feces, which some researchers liken to the fragrance of violets, is believed to originate from the seafood that otters consume

. Speaking of odors, what better way to freshen up than a delightful bath?

Tororo resides in Japan alongside his biological mother, Otsuyu, another adult otter named Odashi, and his human mother who manages their YouTube channel, ‘LOUTRE.’

This otter family’s popularity is evident from their two Instagram accounts: uuu_chaan, boasting 127,000 followers, and loutreosaka with 24,000 followers.

Their fame isn’t confined to Japan; they’re adored globally.

The family frequently posts photos and, more commonly, videos showcasing their daily escapades and shared moments.

Soon after, Tororo’s human mother decides it’s bath time, introducing him to a petite pool.

Although the water barely covered the pool’s base, Tororo appeared hesitant.

With Mama Odashi already in the pool, she began grooming Tororo’s fur.

However, the young otter didn’t seem too thrilled about this grooming session, voicing his displeasure.

At one juncture, Tororo’s vocalizations conveyed his apparent annoyance.

Whether he was disgruntled about being in the pool, Mama Odashi’s grooming, or the bath in general remains a mystery.

Regardless of his vocal protests, both his otter and human mothers ensured he was thoroughly cleaned.

Once spick and span, Mama Odashi added some finishing touches to his fur, ensuring it gleamed.

Post his brief pool adventure, Tororo reverted to his favorite pastime – snoozing. Such a charming little being!

We’re glad that he’s all clean, even if it wasn’t his favorite ever pastime. Hopefully, he soon realizes that water isn’t so bad after all.
