Unfortunately, not all animals tend to get along with other. This baby donkey in India was tragically injured by another, stronger wild animal. The little donkey was in a very bad shape and bled severely. She was bitten over a dozen times. Thanks to the courageous efforts of rescuers and bystanders and the everlasting love of her mom, the adorable little donkey pulled through.

People on the streets started to notice the donkey and saw that there was something wrong. They realized the extent of her injuries and decided to quickly powder her with a turmeric substance, a yellow powder often used in spices. The bystanders assumed that the power would help stop the bleeding, but the donkey’s injuries proved to be too much to handle for the bystanders.

In the meantime, the mother of the baby donkey was seen nervously pacing around, but she didn’t leave the side of her child for one second.

Luckily, it didn’t take long before rescuers and doctors from Animal Aid Unlimited arrived. The donkey’s mother panicked immediately because she taught that the rescuers would take her baby away from her.

Instead of simply taking the baby donkey to treat her, the rescuers decided that they would take the mother along on their trip. Afterward, the doctors started treating the donkey’s wounds, which they named Genevieve.

The mother’s fear of taking her child away seemed to disappear as she realized that the doctors were just there to help. Against expectations, Genevieve made a full recovery thanks to the treatment provided by the Animal Aid rescue team and mom’s incredible love. Genevieve is now seen happily running around again with her mother.

An amazing rescue story!
