Can you remember the first time you ever saw snow?

Although we may have a different reaction to snow as adults, our initial experiences with this magical white dust are usually full of amazement and wonder. How is it possible that such a huge wash of crystals could fall from the sky? On top of that, we find out soon after that we can use it to create all kinds of things—igloos, snow forts, snowmen and snowballs. Our enthusiasm may dampen with age (nobody likes being cold, after all), but snow remains an incredible experience the first time.

As it turns out, animals share that same amazement! Here are 30 of the cutest examples of animals playing in the snow for the first time.
