An Amazon driver appeared out of nowhere, like a superhero, to save a young woman and her dog who were being attacked by a larger dog.

And the whole scene was caught on camera.

The confrontation happened outside Las Vegas when Lauren Ray saw a dog roaming around the neighborhood.

It seemed friendly enough, even coming over and playing with her.

Until Lauren’s dog, Max, came out to investigate and play.

The two dogs begin to sniff each other first but then things got ugly.

The strange Pitbull began attacking Max, who is much smaller and obviously can’t put up much of a fight.

That prompted Ray to pick up her dog while attempting to make the aggressive Pitbull go away.

The Pit was’t having it, snarling and jumping over and over attempting to reach for Max in her arms.

Lauren knew she needed help.

She began screaming for help and that’s when Amazon delivery driver Stephanie Lontz jumped on to the scene facing off with the aggressive Pitbull.

As soon as she gets in its way, she screams at Ray to get back in the house.

Lontz uses her agility to block the barking Pitbull as it kept trying to get past her.

Lauren gets back in the house with Max, and aside from a few scratches, she and her dog are okay.

All thanks to the brave and selfless woman who went a la Black Widow on the attacking dog.

It’s a good thing she was in the right place at the right time.

And as soon as Ray was back inside, Lontz moves to leave but not before shouting, “You’re bad dog!

“I scooped him up, because I didn’t think he stood a chance in a fight, and I wasn’t going to let him fight. I just started screaming, because someone has to hear me,” Ray told Inside Edition.

Her father, Michael, saw the entire encounter via the Ring app on his phone.

He’s a real estate agent who was in his car about to show a client a home when he got a notification.

‘I’m a half an hour away from the house,’ he said. ‘Literally it’s like I’m watching a football game and screaming at it. I’m like, “Get in the house, get in the house!”’

Lontz and Ray eventually met with both ladies just glad they were both alright.

“I didn’t have enough time to say thank you. I was just shaken up but I’m so glad I got to see you again and it means a lot to me.” Ray said.

Lontz was ‘just glad’ she could assist and help save the young woman and her dog.

“The screams made me think of my own child,’ Lontz said. ‘I would only hope someone would jump in and help her if she was in a similar situation. I wouldn’t even think it’s motherly – it’s just the human thing to do.”

Amazon and 702 Logistics, a local courier company on the contract, saw the video and rewarded the selfless Lontz with four tickets to see a Christmas attraction held in Las Vegas.

She deserves it!
