One woman had it in her will that her puppy, Yoggy, was to be kept and cared for by her family.

The family, however, had different plans.

The 3 daughters of the recently deceased woman took ownership of the house and property but left little Yoggy behind.

He was given to the 80-year-old woman as a gift when he was just a little puppy but, unfortunately, the woman passed a mere 4 months later.

Yoggy was left tied up, outside, on the property for over 3 years before he was found by an electrician who was checking out the house.

Yoggy was 3 times in normal size as he hadn’t been groomed or bathed and his fur had tangled up into a matted mess.

His back had started growing moss in it which tells you exactly what kind of horrible condition he was in.

The electrician contacted the ‘Save a Life Pet Rescue’ team and they rushed out to check on the pup.

Despite the neglect the little dog had suffered, he was not afraid as the new people came to rescue him and bring him to a better life.

The rescue team gave Yoggy a much-needed shave and a warm bath.

His skin was pink and raw and there was a mark left on his neck where his collar had been attached to the chain, but he looked much better.

Some good food and a warm bed and this little but was happier than he had been in years,

Unfortunately, his eyes had become infected and damaged as he lived his life outside.

Though he did still have some of his vision and could sense movement, they would never be 100% clear again.

Yoggy didn’t seem to mind too much though, he could see enough that he wasn’t going to be walking into walls and could always find his food.

During his time at the rescue center, Yoggy’s personality began to shine through.

The little dog loved getting all the pats he could and relished in the attention of his rescuers.

He made friends with some of the other dogs that lived at the center and really began to let his playful nature show.

The little dog is now living his best life while being properly cared for.

His naturally curly coat has grown in a bit and he looks much healthier than he did when he first arrived.

Though his eyes will never be back to normal, they have greatly improved and look much better now.
