Near the beginning of quarantine, it seemed like everyone was getting super creative to help pass the time. From learning dance routines to pulling out art projects – was there ever really a dull moment?
One Michigan man tried to keep his spirits high by buying a pair of big fake teeth. While that sounds pretty funny (and quite creative), it became even more hysterical after his best friend stole them.
Ben Campbell purchased the fake dentures so he could make comical videos of himself wearing them.
Apparently, his Yorkshire terrier, Thomas, wanted to get in on the joke too. I mean, why should humans get to have all the fun? So while Ben wasn’t looking, Thomas nabbed the giant teeth for himself.
After Ben discovered Thomas had gotten a hold of the teeth, he quickly pressed record.
Walking in on a dog playing with a pair of fake teeth would probably be laugh-worthy. But a dog actually wearing a pair of fake teeth? That’s on a whole other level!
Say cheese, Thomas.
In Ben’s video, he catches the dog hiding. And when it shows Thomas, he’s got a smile so big, it could light up a room!
The tiny Terrier looks hilarious wearing the teeth. He also appears to have them in perfectly, which adds to the humor of it all.
One viewer wrote:
“Oh my god!! I’m finally gonna get those quarantine abs just from laughing at this!”
Ben can’t help but crack up over the sight.
Thomas wants to escape from Dad, but lucky for us, he doesn’t. Ben gets some good footage of him wearing the huge teeth that give him a bizarre, human-like smile. It’s so funny that Ben snorts while laughing.
He later said:
“I couldn’t believe my eyes!”
Even though Ben purchased the teeth thinking he’d be the one wearing them – this was so much funnier.
The Hazel Park resident uploaded the video to YouTube with the title “Toothy Thomas.” He wrote:
“I got some fake teeth for some quarantine comic relief and well… Thomas stole them off of the table.”

Turns out, Ben wasn’t the only one who thought the sight was hysterical. His video quickly went viral and currently has over two million views and 27K “likes.”
People have left comments like:
“Oh my god, i’ve laughed at videos before on youtube but this one. I had to leave the computer, I was genuniely having a hard time breathing. Fantastic.”
A commenter wrote:
“I don’t know which is funnier – the dog or that laugh 🤣😂”
Someone else pointed out that Thomas looks like he has a mustache, while another said he looks “like a little Chewbacca with a smile.”
Toothy Thomas is now enjoying some internet fame.
At the beginning of quarantine, he was just a lovable Yorkie. Well, he’s still that – but now Thomas also has his own social media accounts, and the clip has been shared by news channels and Ellen DeGeneres. Not too bad for a dog who just wanted to play with his dad’s comical teeth!
