Walking around with your dog in cold weather isn’t exactly one of the most enjoyable things to do, but it’s something that has to be done nonetheless. This owner from Bayport, New York, decided to dress up his Frenchie dog ‘Lulu’ appropriately for the low temperature.

He dressed her up for the rather extreme and cold weather, as the area just went through a major snowstorm. Lulu was wearing a nice knitted blue sweater and she thought she was completely prepared and ready to go outside – until she saw the massive amount of snow waiting on the porch.

Her owner opens up the door to reveal the weather outside, and when Lulu suddenly sees layer upon layer of white snow, it’s as if she instantly regrets her decision to go outside.

The adorable Yorkie does sniffle the snow a bit closer to her but quickly runs away inside the house shortly after.

That’s right – the pure sight and smell of snow were more than enough for the adorable Lulu to ‘escape’ the outside. Lulu didn’t make any effort to put her paws into the snow to get a slight feeling, she just flat-out didn’t want anything to do with it.

The pup decided that she wanted to stay inside the warm, cozy home. This footage was filmed some time ago in 2005 but has only recently been posted on the internet. With almost 1.5 million views on YouTube, it went viral quickly.

We can only hope that Lulu and her owner have been able to take walks in the snow after all these years, but it looks like this Yorkie would never be a big fan of snow under any circumstances.

“I recorded my dog as I let her out the morning after a snowstorm, knowing how fussy she tends to be. She didn’t seem to like it very much,” Lulu’s owner explained.

The comment section was filled with funny responses, with many giving their input on what Lulu was thinking when she saw the massive amount of snow.

“I think I heard my imaginary cat friend calling me never mind thank you though,” Whit Pillow commented.

“This is my Great Dane if it’s even cloudy outside,” OzzieBloke said. “The potential of being hit even by a single raindrop is enough for her to just look at me, as if to say, ‘If you really want me to go out there, you’ll have to carry me out there yourself.’”
