Brittany Davis, a 36-year-old teacher, and resident of Fort Worth, Texas, loves animals.

With her brother being a Great Dane breeder, it was kind of inevitable to get one for herself.

So, Davis brought home a puppy named Zeus a couple of years ago. The whole family immediately fell in love with him.

And, although they all knew from the beginning that Zeus was bound to be a big dog, they just couldn’t imagine how big he was going to get.

You see, 2,5-year-old Zeus is now officially the world’s tallest dog, even holding a Guinness World Record.

As tall as 7 feet when on his hind legs, Zeus is really a human-size pup!

Other than his naturally overwhelming appearance, there’s nothing to be afraid of when getting closer to this giant dog.

He’s the most laidback dog ever, according to his human mom. Davis, who also owns three Australian shepherds, confirms that the latter are much more zippy and energetic than their huge brother.

You see, Zeus enjoys lying down and relaxing most of the time, but he can also get excited about outdoor activities.

Still, this energy lasts about ten minutes and then he totally needs a break.

As for how people react to the sight of Zeus on the street? Well, there seem to be two kinds of people:

“Either people are super excited and they want to come over and take all the pictures and meet him, or they’re superscared and they go to the other side of the street and look at him from very far away,” his mom says, according to TODAY.

Oftentimes, his humans are asked if he has a saddle or if they can ride him. To that, they always answer negatively.

“He’s not a horse. He’s a dog. And he would not appreciate being ridden at all,” Davis clarifies.

Of course, she knows that most people say it jokingly, but at the same time, it can get a little annoying if you get asked the same question all the time.

Huge but sweet Zeus is loved by everyone in his house and he loves each of them back.

He particularly enjoys following his older human brother everywhere, while he consistently takes the baby’s pacifier, which is kind of fun!

Zeus also has an Instagram account, where his fans can follow him on his daily adventures.

Currently, he had almost 9k followers and his fans only keep getting more and more.

“‘He brings a lot joy to our family.’ Bingo. That’s all that matters. Big Dogs Rule,” someone commented about Zeus’ story uploaded by Guiness World Records.

The video has gone viral with more than 5 million views, and everyone just keeps repeating how lovely this Great Dane is in the comment section.

Some people expressed concerns about having big dogs that are kind of bound to live a shorter life than other breeds, but others assured them that nowadays they can live as long as any other dog.
