It seems like animals have a lot of human emotions. They can be happy to see you, sad to see you leave, mad they can’t be outside, and more. Dogs express these emotions all the time, but have you ever seen a cat? The mellow creatures rarely let you know how they feel about anything, unless you missed dinnertime.
This unusual pair of cats however express a lot of emotion when they find their owner has come home smelling like another cat. Lucky for us, a friend thought it was a good idea to capture the moment on video.
These cats run to greet their owner as soon as she walks through the door, but they soon realizes something is off. The first cat smells the hand of her owner and her whole demeanor changes. He lets out the strangest meow that you’ve ever heard. It’s clear he isn’t happy with her.
As soon as he meows another cat wanders over and sniffs his owners hand as well. The second cat actually hisses and gets even more upset than the first cat. The two stand there, just getting angrier by the second as they learn that their owner has cheated on them.
But the two are far from finished. They continue to meow and growl at the owner, who giggles in the background. The sound that they make is so strange. Its somewhere between a growl, and an angsty meow. Cat owners know the type. One of the cats is so upset that his fur is bristled and his ears are back, a sure sign that he feels angry and threatened.
It’s rare that a cat would get so territorial like this. Sure thats a common trait in dogs, marking their territory or warning other dogs of whats theirs, but cats don’t usually care about much. Clearly these are two spoiled felines that don’t think that other cats are worth their master’s time. This will make them think twice about spending time with other pets.
The video has become very popular on YouTube, surpassing over a million views from people who love the reactions of the cats, and commenting on what they’re thinking. All of the interactions are almost as entertaining as the video itself.
Hopefully these cats forgave their owner, and hopefully their owner learned their lesson about coming home smelling like another cat.
