Ever wondered how a day goes in a home full of puppies?
Well, look no further! Youtube Channel Em’s Goldens gets us a front-row seat to watch how these adorable labrador retriever puppies run their day.
The typical day starts with the puppies waking up and going into their potty break.
Breakfast will then follow. This time, the first training commences.
Each of the puppies will be called before they can even go get their own treats.
The training is called Manding or learn your name lesson. A mask is used to desensitize puppies. This will help puppies adapt easily to their new homes.
Each puppy patiently waits for their name to be called and then gets to be fed as part of training.
Once breakfast is done, the puppies then take their naps while the night area is cleaned.
Section by Section, each nap station is cleared out.
After the night area is cleaned and set up, an object of the day is also set up with puppies having a good long play session.
This session usually involves their object of the day. whether it is exposure to the sweeper, a change of environment, or other playmates.
This gives them more range of adaptation.
Puppies do get tired after the long session, so each goes to their individual kennels for a nap.
This will also be their creative training, to help them cope with being in a cage.
This time, as explained in the description, “I used puppy quiet time to prepare my puppy go-home bags and finish up some paperwork.”
When puppies wake up, they go outside for their potty break and head straight to lunchtime!
The trainer usually incorporates lunchtime with a training lesson.
In the video, she is teaching the puppies about the resource guarding prevention game.
A car ride is next for the puppies’ training session.
In a week, an average of 3 car rides are initiated starting when puppies are two weeks old.
“This makes their car ride to their new home much less stressful for both the puppy and the new owner,” the trainer noted in the description.
After the car rides, it is time for the puppies to listen to their sound-desensitizing audio.
The audio plays a mix of common sounds such as traffic, thunderstorms, fireworks, and more.
This training hopes to lessen their stress on those sounds and not get scared too easily later on.
During the whole day, the training always involves cleaning up their poop and laundry loads.
Last but not the least, lots of puppy cuddles and snuggles.
I think we can all agree that this is the best part of the day!
Lastly, it’s time for dinner and the n puppies are now set for their long night’s sleep.
The video gathered more than 450 Thousand views since its posting and has been commented on hundreds of times.
