There are dog lovers, and then there are people who get so overwhelmed by their cuteness – even the mere sight of one has them breaking into a baby voice.
Regardless of which type of dog lover you are, there’s a video circulating the internet that’s pretty darn adorable. It was filmed while a couple of women were at a stoplight in Richmond, Virginia.
The friends had decided to hit record after noticing two dogs in the car next to them. Instantly, their hearts melted at the sight. But little did they know there was an extra surprise headed their way – transforming it into total…cuteness…overload!

In the clip, there are two pit bulls in a stopped SUV. Since their window is all the way down – they’re able to get a really good view of the outside world.
When the women pulled up to the red light they were fortunate to stop right next to them. Just the sight of the dogs standing side by side, hanging out the window, had them wanting to capture the moment on film.
Surely they’re happy pups.
Dogs are known for sticking their heads out of car windows (if Mom and Dad let them, of course). For a dog, it can be a fun and freeing experience.
Dr. Cathy Meeks told The Dodo:
“It’s a highly stimulating experience for them – the scents, the feeling of the wind, all of the sights they can see. It’s the same reason we feel so good when we get out of the house after being cooped up all day.”
Dog owners have to be careful though.
As much as pooches love sticking their heads out of vehicle windows, it can be dangerous too. According to Tripswithpets.com, there’s a risk of them getting hit with rocks/debris, damaging their ears, or even falling out.
In the video, the humans roll their window down too.
This is the point where you can tell just how big of dog lovers they are. That’s because the driver’s voice fluctuates up and down like a giddy grandma who squeezes cheeks and says, “I want to eat you up!” It’s obvious they’re nothing but pools of mush.
Suddenly there’s a surprise.
The passenger tells her friend, “There’s a third one…”
Just when they thought two pit bulls hanging out the window was precious – then there were three! Another dog starts popping its head out in between its siblings.
Why, hello there.
Hilariously, the women freak out over the surprise. There are now THREE pit bulls staring at them, looking adorable as can be. Listening to how excited the ladies are is pretty darn cute on its own.
The experience made their day, however, they didn’t expect it to go viral!
One of the women wrote:
“My best friend and I were taking a ride downtown when we saw some cute dogs out the window of another car. I happened to start recording when the third pupper popped up unexpectedly! I was not expecting the video to get the attention it did!”
