Deer, as beautiful as they are, are really modest and shy creatures. They are quick to sense any signs of danger and are the type to stay away from the spotlight.

To say that they’re extremely peaceful and calm animals is an understatement.

Most humans wouldn’t even be able to see one up close because they’re extremely aloof.

Despite their nature of being timid, one particular deer couldn’t resist coming out of the woods upon hearing unbelievably beautiful music.

It started with a harp.

A few scientific studies reveal that some types of animals enjoy the sound of music, and a video posted by Naomi SV somehow proves it to be true.

On one fine day, 26-year-old Naomi was filming herself playing harp outdoors in Quebec, Canada.

Like something out of a movie

The surrounding was so calm and serene and coupled with the lovely sound she was creating, it seemed like a clip straight out of a movie.

Just when we thought it couldn’t be better than that, a deer suddenly emerged from the woods, as if trying to locate where the music was coming from.

Naomi was playing a gorgeous rendition of The Sound of Silence by Simon & Garfunkel.

The video captured the deer slowly walking toward Naomi as it wags its tail, seemingly because the sound excites her.

Meanwhile, the talented musician remained focused and calm. Because of this, she just continued playing.

It was magical.

However, when the animal made it just a few feet from Naomi, the deer suddenly became startled and jumped, immediately running back into the woods.

Naomi was startled, too.

Sensing the sudden movement, Naomi also leaped in surprise causing her to stop playing her harp and just run.

It was not until she played the 60-second recorded video that she realized the wonderful ambiance the deer created for her.

“I was definitely the deer in the headlights in this situation,” the musician shared. “I had seen it behind me before I started playing, but the sound of it running made me think it was about to attack me! I’m a nervous one.”

She continued, “I know the area where I filmed quite well and know that deer usually come out when the sun begins to set.”

Naomi posted the clip with the caption, “When life turns into a Disney movie…”

Looks like Bambi gave us a cameo.

According to Naomi, at the time of that encounter, she had just started learning to play the harp. She was mostly self-taught through tutorials on Youtube.

The talented woman has been playing piano for 20 years. No wonder she learned to play harp quickly.

When asked about the encounter, she shared that she’s hoping to maybe attract some rabbits and squirrels the next time.

It’s amazing to realize that no matter how different we are from animals, music remains to be a language we all seem to understand.
