Pisa is a sweet goat that lives at Little Buckets Farm Sanctuary, a vegan animal rescue center located in Virginia.

She was taken in by Susan and her team at the sanctuary when she was just a baby.

That’s when they noticed something amiss.

Pisa was wobbly.

She had trouble staying still or walking by herself because of a neurological problem.

Still, she never stopped being a sociable creature who was curious about everything around her and wanted to make friends.

Indeed, she soon made a dog friend, Colton.

Colton became Pisa’s leaning post.

The dog didn’t really mind the goat leaning on her so that she could be more stable, and they eventually developed a special friendship.

Pisa wanted to be near Colton all the time, and Colton liked having a friend who wanted to do everything together.

Soon, Susan, the owner of the place, decided the only solution to Pisa’s health issue was a cart so that she could move around by herself.

The little goat was really curious and excited to explore the world opening up around her, and Susan didn’t want her to miss out on a chance to do so.

So, they soon ordered a card for the goat and waited to see how Pisa would react to it.

Pisa started learning right away.

In the beginning, there were ups and downs. Pisa didn’t know how the cart really worked, so it took her some time to figure things out.

“When she was starting with her cart, she just couldn’t figure out how to go forwards, […] but then, there was this point that she figured out she could go forward,” Susan told The Dodo.

Then it was go-time.

From then on, it seems that she’s never stopped running.

You see, the little goat enjoys running and exploring everything, and by no means does she want to be left behind.

Pisa’s got a competitive streak.

So, not only does she join her friends in their activities, but she actually competes against them and she always wants to be the one who runs the fastest.

Besides the fact that she soon started running at 90 miles per hour, she even started to “talk”. Susan swears she can hear her say “I did it!”

As for Colton, they have never ceased to be best friends, and they still keep doing everything together.

Only, now, Pisa doesn’t need to lean on him to stand on her feet because she can do it alone.

She’s got “Pisa Power”.

Susan started saying that the goat has Pisa Power because she is “so independent, so strong, so fast, so feisty”.

Indeed, Colton now needs to be careful when walking or running around the farm because her bestie always tries to run faster.

“I grew up a very competitive athlete,” Susan explained, “so I was like ‘that’s my daughter’. I love Pisa more than anything,” she added.

Susan says she gets so much love back from Pisa that it just can’t go unnoticed.

She explained that whatever Pisa’s condition brings along the way, she’ll make sure to accommodate.
