Finding ways to show your wedding party how much you appreciate all they’ve done for you can sometimes be difficult. As far as gifts go – the usual suspects include personalized flasks, ties, and socks. There’s massages, pampering sessions, and fine dining experiences. What is not often included in this list, is kittens.
Michele Bansboll and Nick Anderson recently tied the knot and when brainstorming ways to make the ceremony personal and true to themselves – they decided they needed to incorporate their profound love of cats.
The couple met in veterinary school. They fell in love and adopted two cats Bam-Bam and Wiggles.
When they aren’t working or hanging out with their beloved cats, they like to give back and donate their time at a rescue center in Colorado – Divine Feline.
Their lives revolve around their love of cats, so it only made sense that they would be featured on their big day.
They decided to borrow some kittens from Divine Feline for the day, so that they could bring joy to all of their guests and promote awareness for the rescue center.
The cats were also featured in the formal photos of the day, surprising their bridal party.
Both kittens are now up for adoption, but we think they might be difficult to get your hands on after the fame they have received from the wedding images.
‘Everyone in the bridal party was freezing since we had been standing outside without jackets for a while and we told them all to wait for one more surprise and then we brought out the kittens,’ said Michele.
‘I think everyone’s voice jumped up an octave when they saw the cuteness overload and no one cared about being cold anymore.
‘One of the groomsmen was even reluctant to go back inside when we were done with group photos because he wanted to hold them!’
As well as the actual kittens, the wedding also featured a cat-themed wedding cake, cat shoes, and the tables were named after different cat breeds.
