Couple Posts Photos From Birthing Photoshoot Online And The Internet Can’t Handle It
Creative? Or just plain weird? You be the judge.

The birth of a new child is one of the most exciting and incredible experiences in life. Documenting the birth is common for many couples; however, most couples are ‘giving birth’ to real human babies.

Lucy Schultz, an avid cat lover and photographer, has fostered kittens her entire life but never had one for her own. So, when she finally adopted one — she decided to organize a photo shoot.

Lucy and her partner of three years, Steven, recently adopted a 5-month-old orange and white kitty after months of searching the ‘perfect cat.’ To celebrate his arrival into their home, a photo shoot seemed appropriate; however, it definitely isn’t like any pet photo shoot we’ve ever seen before.

After posting the pictures, the internet was thoroughly taken aback by Lucy’s approach. Instead of posing with her new cat on her lap, Lucy took it to a whole new level and mimicked birthing photos.

“On 1/10/18 we welcome our first baby kitten, a neutered male DLH,” Lucy commented the images. “He is 22″ long and weighed 6 pounds 7 oz. He is already eating solid food. Name to be announced. We are so in love,” she posted on Facebook.

Brace yourselves — things get a little…weird.

Like most newborns, this orange and white fur baby spends most of its time sleeping.

But when he’s wide-eyed, those gorgeous golden eyes are just too cute for words.

They’ve gone this far already, so, of course, some breastfeeding shots had to be incorporated.
