Toy Poodles stand under ten inches. Yes, you read that right. They weigh in at around six pounds and are the smallest among the three size varieties of Poodles. Now, they may be small but this breed is athletic, smart, and versatile, giving them wonderful characteristics unique to dogs. They are often portrayed to be aristocrats or dogs of class in cartoons and films all because of their personality.
But just how easy or difficult is it to take care of such a small dog?
Well this three month old puppy is here to show you just how adorable he is and that it doesn’t take a lot to pamper him. Just bring him to the spa for some TLC then on to the salon for proper grooming.
He’s a cute little fellow, strutting around proudly on his strong little legs, even receiving some love from a pair of hands.
The pup is so small that he can rest on the hand of a lady who inspects this little poodles fur and skin. The pup is well behaved, just letting the woman inspect his little frame as he stares off trying not to get sleepy.
Time for a shower!
Little dogs need to be clean. No one wants a stinky mutt!
He’s got that huge bucket all to himself. A little scrub and rub with a piece of cloth should remove any unwanted bits and pieces on his handsome coat. But easy does it now, miss. He’s only three months old.
The tiny toy gets his head shampooed, blinking his cute little eyes all the while as his handler makes sure his whole body gets scrubbed with suds. After rinsing, the pup is placed in a yellow dipper in which he fits perfectly.
He does look funny!
The puppy gets a rinsing again, his expression the same as when they started his bath. Not sure if he’s cold or nervous, but he is in great hands!
After the soaping and rinsing are done, a lady puts the little dog on her lap with a fresh towel between her legs and the dog. She positions him in front of a blow dryer as she gently brushes his fur, getting him dry and warm. Feet up, little guy!
The little toy poodle even tries to change his position, probably trying to snuggle up in comfort since it’s so warm under the dryer. Those brush strokes must feel like a good massage too.
His day of pampering isn’t over!
Now that he’s all dry, he gets his eyebrows trimmed. Well not exactly eyebrows but his fur extends down to his eyes which may hamper his vision a bit. Plus it’s a free haircut. Those can be pricey!
What about those whiskers? Yes, those too!
And since he’s looking more handsome than ever, why not go ahead and trim that body while his lady handler is there? He certainly looks like he’s enjoying this. And who wouldn’t? It’s always good to spend a day down at your favorite salon. Right, ladies?
The puppy is back on a mattress now and he starts walking around feeling like a new poodle. Don’t worry, you’ll grow right into it! Give or take a few inches.
