Zoos allow us to see all of our favorite animals without ever having to leave the country… or the state for that matter.

Zoos foster excitement wildlife and conservation from an early age. To a young child, there are few things better than a trip to witness giant elephants or fierce lions in action.

Since it’s unlikely that we’ll ever be able to view all of these animals in the wild, zoos are the next best thing.

Not to mention it’s far cheaper and safer than trekking the globe for endangered species. Now that we think about it, we probably would never want to witness a tiger in the wild, anyways.

Even as adults, we still can appreciate a quality day at the zoo, especially when it involves some of our closest primate relatives—the orangutans.

With their long orange hair and intelligent demeanors, we can’t help but love these gentle jungle dwellers.

Often when we leave a zoo, we like to purchase some sort of memorabilia to remember our day and contribute to the ongoing conservation efforts. Maybe we’ll snag a cool t-shirt or figurine of our favorite animal.

But at one Balinese zoo, a tourist gets a peculiar souvenir from one of the animals itself!

For all primate lovers, this footage is sure to have you watching on repeat.

The video begins as a man is deciding whether or not to throw food to the orangutan across the water.

The orangutan realizes that the man is about to throw a snack its way, so it reaches its hand out patiently!

That is one smart animal. He knows just how to respond when a quality snack is coming his way.

The man finally tosses the food toward the orangutan who makes a perfect catch!

That orangutan isn’t just brains, but rather he’s got decent hand-eye coordination, as well. He proceeds to eat his food, then gets in a staring contest with his new human pal!

A few moments later, the orangutan realizes he’s being recorded and faces the camera!

He even decides to throw a gift back to the man!

Although we can’t quite tell if it’s a banana or a leftover piece of watermelon, we can hope the man will cherish that gift forever. How many people can say they received a gift from an orangutan?

That orangutan is quite the businessman!

We wonder if it didn’t know it was being filmed, would it have thrown something back?

If eyes hadn’t been watching, maybe the orangutan would’ve kept all the goods for himself… but what’s even more impressive than the animal’s business skills is its throw!

The orangutan spends a few moments prepping for his throw then launches a perfect Hail Mary right into his human friend’s hand!

He was probably taking his time while projecting the trajectory of the throw along with the opposing forces of wind and gravity. This orangutan would make a decent quarterback or a decent rocket scientist.

The business deal isn’t over yet! The orangutan ends up playing a full-on game of catch!

After a few tosses back and forth, the man thanks the orangutan for his generosity, then continues on his way. With both parties equally satisfied with the exchange, it’s safe to say that was a quality transaction.
