Rich and Gainz were the perfect soulmates for each other.
Looking at both of them, they seem like tough guys – big, buff, and tough. But what made their bond special was how they brought out each other’s soft and sweet side.
Gainz is a 115-pound Rottweiler, but he is one big baby.
He loves to cuddle and be carried around like he isn’t heavy. But what the couple loved most about their dog is he lives to have the best life.

While Emily feeds or walks him, Gainz is closer to Rich.
She sometimes feels like she’s a third wheel and should be jealous, but at the same time, she loves seeing how the two men in her life were so sweet to each other.
Gainz always loves being beside Rich, no matter what he is doing.
Whether working out in the gym, playing video games, or at work, trust that Gainz is beside his favorite hooman.
He knows him so well to the point that when Rich feels stressed with work, this gentle giant will pop up at his workstation as if checking in on him.
But here’s the most fantastic event that made Emily believe Gainz knew Rich more than anyone.
She said that Rich was on a work trip one time and changed his flight back earlier so he could surprise them. While he was on his way home, Emily and Gainz were out for his final walk for the day.
They went back to their building, and Gainz suddenly acted weird. He started pawing at the elevator and barking at Emily.
He sprinted out of the elevator when they got to their floor and headed for their door.
Emily opened the door, and Gainz immediately went to the couch. Rich was there.
It was an emotional moment for her because she realized their dog was in tune with her partner. Their connection was really special.
So special that even Rich wouldn’t have imagined he would feel that way toward a dog.
“I think it’s something rare. Dogs are, at its best, purists. It’s just this connection and feeling that I have with him that I honestly never thought you could develop with an animal,” he told GeoBeats.
