Some of us, who are on the lazier side, fantasize about getting our dogs to run errands for us. I mean, how amazing would life be if you could tie a $5 bill to your dog, send him down the street and have him come back with some milk.
So amazing… it would be SO amazing.
While that will likely forever remain a fantasy for us, one dog-owning couple has found a way to have their dog save the day.
It all started when Sabina and her boyfriend both felt the call of nature at the same time. Luckily, they have two bathrooms in their home so they were both able to heed this call.
Sabina, however, didn’t realize that her bathroom was out of toilet paper until it was too late. She was stranded on the bowl.
“When I was done I realized there was no toilet paper,” Sabina wrote in a post online. “I yelled to my [boyfriend] that I needed paper, but he couldn’t get up. So he asked Ozzy to come see him and asked me to call him back. This photo is Ozzy that rescued me.”
Sabina’s boyfriend secured a roll of toilet tissue to Ozzy with some phone charging wire and asked Sabina to call him. Ozzy answered the call of duty and brought the roll straight to Sabina.
He even looked away as to not offend her modesty.
“The funny thing about my dog is whenever I put something on him, a bandage or whatever, he freezes!” Sabina told The Dodo. “But this time he was such a good boy.”
Of course, Ozzy was generously rewarded with treats for his services. Though Sabina has tried to employ Ozzy as a full-time delivery dog, that hasn’t quite happened.
“I tried to make him bring wine,” she joked. “Fail.”
Perhaps one of the other animals in her home will be up for the job? One can dream Sabina, one can dream!
