Everyone likes to be spoiled every now and then. A little treat here and there never hurt anyone… Right? We all deserve, especially these days, to enjoy a little bit of joy whatever that may be to each individual person.
And this doesn’t just go for humans, either.
We all know very well that our adorable little pets love their treats, too.
This adorable video of a baby feeding his dog treats went viral a couple of years back in 2016, and it is easy to see why it got so much love.
This little boy had a box of milk bones in his hand, which he was feeding to his Bernese mountain dog, one by one. Normally, we probably wouldn’t give our pets so many treats in a row (unless they behaved really well) but this was a special occasion.
Since the treats were coming from the baby boy, it was honestly just super adorable. How could you look at something like this and try to stop it?!
The baby boy was naturally taking his time too, since he is quite young. Every now and then, the mountain dog would grow impatient and gently beg the boy for some more treats by inching his way over to him, or digging his head into the boy’s body.
This dog was clearly very well-behaved, though.
Despite that though, the dog was super well-behaved, which is part of the reason why this video is so adorable in the first place.
Even when the dog goes in to grab the treat out of the little boy’s hand, you can see that he is very careful about it. He takes the treat very gently every time, to make sure that he does not accidentally bite the toddler.
No biting whatsoever!
The baby boy was either zoning out or laughing. We’re sure he was a little bit confused at times, given how young he is, but you can also tell that he is so happy to be spoiling his pup.
Every now and then, the boy breaks out into a massive smile.
A special connection.
There always seems to be an extra special connection between a dog and a baby. It’s almost as if they are on the same wavelength, because it always seems like they are communicating with each other so well… Or maybe we just feel that way when we watch them because they are both so dang cute and precious!
It was a very wholesome family moment.
In the video, we can hear the baby’s parents watching. Every now and then they make funny little comments as they talk to their child. The whole family moment is so pure and wholesome, our hearts simply can’t take it!
Viral success!
Now, as you can imagine, the video went viral on Youtube. That’s how adorable it is — the whole world couldn’t seem to get enough of this little boy and his sidekick!
With nearly 2 million views and thousands of comments, people from all over the globe can’t seem to get enough of this friendship.
“The kid has to be thinking, my dog’s picture is on this box, these must be his biscuits,” one Youtube user hilariously commented.
One thing’s for sure: This dog is probably forever grateful for this little boy’s generosity. He sure did spoil him with the good stuff!
