Dogs love to nap in the warmest and fluffiest area they can find. They are such angels when they rest after running around the yard all day. Although, some dogs have their preferences on where to find comfort.
They either sleep on the freshly cut grass, the cold tiles on the bathroom floor, or even the warm bodies of other dogs, just like Edna.
Meet Edna, the dog who naps on other dogs.
Edna often goes into daycare while her parents are working, and running and playing takes a lot of energy from Edna. This is what Edna usually does when she gets tired.
Edna feels like she owns the place because she can almost do whatever she wants until she is tired.
Whenever she is exhausted, it is time for her to scout for a location where she could replenish the energy that she lost. Because a lot of other dogs compete for a comfortable spot, the situation pushed Edna to adapt.
This tiny dog is the bravest dog you will see.
Edna has attended daycare ever since she was a puppy. While there, she developed a habit of taking her naps on the fluffy bellies of her other daycare buddies.
She is also picky about which dogs she will nap on. Usually, she chooses the fluffiest one, then she proceeds to snuggle on the dog’s thick fur. Without any sense of fear, she never hesitates to be comfortable with them. Edna is an alpha dog in terms of using other dogs as pillows.
The dogs let Edna nap in peace on top of their fur.
You would think that it would be hard for Edna to sleep on top of the other dogs because they would be annoyed, but no. Edna has been doing this habit ever since she was little. Not much has changed even as she grew a little bigger.
The other dogs at the daycare do not mind Edna napping on their bodies, whether she takes the nap on top of their bellies or tails. These kind dogs will freely let her stay for as long as she likes.
At the end of the day, Edna’s owner often finds her sleeping on random dogs inside the facility.
Brianna Gottfried is Edna’s human companion. When it is finally time for Edna to go home, Brianna will search for Edna around the doggy daycare. She told The Dodo,
“When it’s time to go home I always have to peel her off of another dog.”
Brianna was amazed at how Edna could muster the courage to nap on other dogs, but what surprised her the most was the fact that the other dogs do not seem to mind.
“All the dogs seem to enjoy the snuggling company, even the tiny weiner dogs,” Brianna said.
These doggy daycare center interactions are just lovely.
We have seen quite a lot of these every day pet daycare scenarios on the web. It is just heartwarming and satisfying to see odd, but beautiful interactions like these.
Edna and her napping situation eventually went viral on the internet. Everyone loved the tiny dog’s adorable interaction with her other furry friends. They even adored the fact that Edna could just get away with this habit.
