Creatures that are small in size tend to look cute and at the top of the list are probably puppies, wouldn’t you agree?
Apart from being man’s best friend, pups also bring the definition of “adorable” to a different level of standards.
I mean, how can you compete with the cuteness?
You may have already seen viral videos of pups and kids ganging up in delivering good vibes or other creatures together with pups. Pups can be paired with almost anyone or anything and the results will always be the same.
But have you ever seen a pup playing with a flying creature?
We don’t often see them up-close not unless your yard is full of greeneries or flowers.
They are not just mere flying insects as they play an important role in the reproduction of plants and flowers.
“Butterflies feed primarily on nectar from flowers. Some also derive nourishment from pollen, tree sap, rotting fruit, dung, decaying flesh, and dissolved minerals in wet sand or dirt. Butterflies are important as pollinators for some species of plants. In general, they do not carry as much pollen load as bees, but they are capable of moving pollen over greater distances. Flower constancy has been observed for at least one species of butterfly.”
A butterfly’s vibrant and multi-colored wings are also one of the many factors why it is always mesmerizing to watch them. And let’s admit it, when we were still kids, we loved chasing and catching butterflies.
When land and air species “collide”.
There is no rocket science here, and there’s no collision at all, we are just talking about a pup and a butterfly.
In a recent Facebook video posted by Lúcia Kohl Dalmolin from Brazil, an innocent pup can be seen playing outside.
But it’s playing with an unusual playmate.
As the camera zooms in, the image becomes clearer, the tiny pooch is playing with a butterfly.
A pup paling around with a winged creature is peculiar to the eyes.
The combination of two different species is a moment that only comes once in a while and we are all glad the camera is rolling when this one took place.
The pup’s name is Emy and she seems to be enjoying her flying friend’s company. She flips from right to left trying to catch it but fails numerous times.
It somehow looks like the butterfly is making fun of her, it even descends on her paws a couple of times.

The videos of their playtime run for over 2 minutes.
That’s all the time neccessary to gain millions of views in just over a week.
That’s on top of the video’s tens of thousands of “reactions” and comments from people who were struck by the precious moment between Emy and the butterfly.
Facebook user Stacy Lynn Ferguson wrote in the comment section:
“…omg so beautiful ive never in my lifetime seeing a butterfly want to sit and play with a person let alone a dog that was beautiful remember dog spelled backwards I love you baby girl”
For Facebook user Jane Mullin, there’s a reason why the butterfly is flying near Emy:
“The butterfly is thirsty..thats why its staying close to the furbabies nose/mouth area”
Some are claiming the video is fake or edited and some are even saying the butterfly is on a string.
However, those are some far reaching speculations if you actually watch the video.
Even if it were the case (which we highly doubt), it would not discount the positivity and happiness the videos have brought to millions of other people who saw nothing but goodness and beauty from it.
