Dwarf horses are not too popular but they are not uncommon. While most of us know horses as tall, majestic beings, there are also breeds of this animal that are small and adorable.
You probably haven’t seen a horse as tiny as little Teddy.
Eleonor, a dwarf horse, gave birth to quite a fragile and tiny colt. The farm where she gave birth found the newborn too cute and named him Teddy.
He is a dwarf horse, but he is even smaller than anybody would have expected. he is even smaller than a dog!
Teddy is one playful pony.
Despite his size, Teddy is not exactly a frail pony. He is playful and loves to run around. Just like any other young creature, Teddy tries to make a friend with everyone on the farm, most especially dwarf horses such as him.
He loves to be around other horses, and he loves to play and be active. However, he still could not make any friends.
Apparently, Eleanor is fiercely protective of her young, to the point that Teddy can’t even go near other ponies on the farm.
Teddy would always try to go near the other horses, trying to get them to play with him. The other dwarf horses welcome his presence and are quick to face in the tiny horse’s direction to mingle with him.
Everything is going great and they all start to have fun until Eleanor comes into the picture. She is very conscious of Teddy’s safety around other horses.
Oftentimes, she can be seen trying to get in between Teddy and the other dwarf horses. It was endearing to see her protect her little one, but at the same time, it was sad to see Teddy alone because no one would dare cross Eleanor.
Other dwarf horses would choose not to go to Teddy because Eleanor would always get in the way and prevent Teddy from mingling with them.
Teddy would always run around the farm, trying to get other horses to play with him. He ended up being alone because they would not run after him or get silly with him. But that was until tiny Teddy met the farm dogs.
The dogs were even bigger than Teddy and they were so much fun!
They love to run around, giving Teddy the time of his life every time they are together. What an energetic combination!
Teddy is still a baby, and he grew up having a lot of fun with the farm dogs. The tiny pony even licked and kissed them sweetly.
It was only a matter of time before Teddy eventually got closer to the other dwarf horses.
His friendship with the dogs has helped him gain confidence and seeing him play with the canines also encouraged the other horses to reach out and befriend him.
Gone is the fragile little baby horse, for Teddy is now one playful and active horse. He is still tiny, but he has friends who love him for who he is.
