Dogs are highly intelligent creatures. However, there are some situations where they can be a bit gullible, which makes it easy to pull pranks on them.
Bamboozling dogs 101.
Owners often share their brilliant and hilarious moments where they prank their dogs. Some try hiding behind a blanket and then disappearing after dropping the sheet in front of their pooches. Some other owners try to change their appearance completely by putting on makeup or a costume.
These attempts don’t work on all dogs as some are perceptive enough to know what’s coming; they could just sniff you out and blow your cover. However, if these tricks manage to bamboozle your dogs, then you’re in for a treat with their silly and confused looks as they hilariously try to comprehend the surprising situation they’re in.
These pet owners had their friend visit them in a T-rex costume.
Emma and Shane own a pair of sweet and round malamutes named Phil and Nico. The dogs are also accompanied by a grumpy Maine Coon cat, Milo. As the quarantine has been lifted with cautious protocols set, they decided to call their friend Harley who they hadn’t seen for ten weeks.
To make the visit safe for the family and the dogs, they had to let Harley wear full personal protective equipment (PPE) and that PPE was in the shape of a Tyrannosaurus Rex suit. They were curious to know what Phil and Nico’s reactions would be.
Nico and Phil were excited as they saw their surprise walking down the street.
The preparations were all set and Nico and Phil were already in the yard waiting for their surprise visitor. Harley stomped up the sidewalk leading to Emma and Shane’s house in her silly dinosaur costume. As the two malamutes noticed the weird dinosaur coming towards them, they immediately rushed and took a whiff to determine who was behind the costume.

The dogs were not fooled, as they immediately knew that it was Harley. Her voice gave it all away as she tried to baby talk the dogs. Not long after, the couple welcomed Harley into the yard and the dogs were just running and pouncing at her with excitement.
In return, Harley rewarded them with hugs and spent a lovely time petting both of them. She even took Phil for a short walk in the neighborhood.
There was one more pet that they need to surprise.
After some time of playing with the chunky hounds, Harley went off to see one more member of the family, Milo the Maine Coon. As Harley was on her way to the backyard, you could see the cat swiftly scooting away as soon as she saw the unfamiliar costume.
Harley tried to approach the cat once again, but Milo just zoomed away from her. Luckily, he had a long leash and couldn’t run away from home.
Harley spent her remaining time on the backyard couch with Nico and Phil beside her until she went home. She gave them a few more belly rubs as she said her goodbyes to them.
