It's clear they've done this before.

You’ve probably heard the age-old saying that cats and dogs can’t get along. But time and time again, these furry animals have proven us wrong.

It does take a bit of training, but cats and dogs can get along.

The video below proves the classic dog versus cat adage wrong.

Maeby the husky was enjoying a peaceful nap on the couch. She seems to be in a comfortable deep sleep, all curled up and pleasantly asleep.

Farina the cat noticed Maeby’s soothing slumber and wanted to join the nap party – with Maeby as her fluffy bed.

First, Farina fluffs up her doggy pillow by kneading Maeby’s fur for a short time.

As the video progresses, you can see that Maeby actually wakes up from Farina’s actions, but she doesn’t react. Clearly, the two fur babies are great friends, and Maeby is used to Farina’s cattish ways.

In true cat fashion, Farina settles herself on top of Maeby in a manner where she is the queen and Maeby is but a humble peasant. Basically, she sits on Maeby with her cat butt in Maeby’s dog face.

It’s too adorable!

If you’re going to use your friend as a furry bed, you could at least be considerate to not have your butt in your friend’s face, right? But this is a cat we’re talking about.

With over 2 million views on YouTube, animal lovers adored the friendship these two typical rivals shared:

“The cat gets a furry mattress and the dog gets a fluffy blanket, win win scenario,” one commenter wrote.

Another added:

“The cat has to fluff up the dog first. Obviously, two very good friends. I love it.”

A third noted:

“It’s clear they have gone through this ritual before. Very cute.”

Seeing the two be so comfortable with each other is adorable! Talk about having the best seat in the house.

According to Wag, Huskies and cats can often get along — if they have the right training and supervision.

“Start training as early as possible when your Husky is still a puppy and be prepared to maintain this training throughout his lifetime… Before beginning, ensure that your Husky has basic obedience under his belt. Important commands will be ‘sit’, ‘stay’, and ‘leave it’. Any other commands are a plus, but these can come in handy if you find yourself in a situation where you need to maintain control over your dog,” the website says.

As these two show, with the right socialization, cats and huskies can get along famously. What a sweet pair.
