As parents, we do everything humanly possible to provide our children with love and care. We also bend over backward to keep them safe. Especially in today’s society, it’s a big responsibility to protect kids.
Potential danger
One thing, in particular, that parents have to watch out for is dogs. Although most are friendly, some aren’t. So, if you have a small child, it’s essential that you make sure your little one is never put in harm’s way.
A day at the park
All kids love going to the park, even infants. One day, a little one’s parents took him to one locally. There he sat on a blanket spread out over the grass. He’s dressed in the cutest blue outfit, which makes him even more adorable than he already is.
Then something happens
As one of the parents videos the boy, a Yorkie comes into view. You can tell by looking at the puppy that he’s quite interested in this little human. In no time, this furry creature is on the same blanket as the baby.
The baby doesn’t notice
But even as the Yorkie plops down on the blanket, the little boy is focused elsewhere. In a stealth-like mode, the puppy inches her way closer. At one point, she’s right next to the infant. You want to turn away yet you can’t because you know what’s coming.
What, no attack?
Instead of jumping on the child, this adorable puppy walks around him, sniffing as she goes. It’s obvious that all she wants is some of his attention. Still, the boy doesn’t seem to notice the furry little thing around him.
The encounter
Finally, the Yorkie is standing right in front of the boy. She goes as far as to nudge him. But rather than cry out of fear, this baby just laughs. Now that he sees the puppy, nothing else around him matters.
Lots of kisses
This baby is so infatuated with the puppy that he even reaches out his tiny arms as if he wants to hold her. But the puppy had something different in mind. She preferred to smother the boy in lots of wet doggy kisses.
A friendship is born
By this time, the two of them have already bonded. So much so that the Yorkie makes his way over to the baby’s lap. That’s when he finally gets the chance to pet her. The best part, this little boy keeps laughing.
It’s on
Now that the puppy got what she wanted she can’t hold back. She’s all over the baby…on his back and his shoulders. Still, all this cute child can do is giggle. He’s having the time of his life with his new friend.
The father’s narrative
To enhance an already great video, this baby’s father added some narrative. He said, “The scourge sweeping America is at it again. Our innocent young son is savagely attacked by this bloodthirsty beast. The authorities are helpless against this menace.”
He goes on with this, “By the time the local PD showed up the miniature terror was on its next victim. People, I beg of you, don’t let this savagery continue. The Yorkie threat must be eliminated.” Of course, it was all in jest.
