This poor little koala was entangled.
A Byron Bay, Australia resident stumbled upon an unexpected sight while tending to her chickens.
A koala had become ensnared in the chicken coop fence and tightly wrapped in nylon. The woman sprang into action and grabbed her scissors to free the distressed marsupial.
With care and precision, she began cutting the nylon away from the koala’s body. Amazingly, the koala remained calm and cooperative, patiently awaiting liberation.
He knew she was helping him.
It appears the entangled animal knew it was being rescued by the kindhearted woman.
“I’ve got you, try not to struggle,”
That’s what the woman told the creature in soft reassurance as she delicately held it in her hands.
The koala seemed to understand her soothing words as it exhibited trust and a sense of relief.
The little fella was about to be free.
The woman’s diligent efforts paid off as she successfully released the koala’s arms.
Freeing its feet proved more challenging.
However, before she could intervene further, the resourceful koala managed to extricate itself from the remaining nylon and happily scampered off to the safety of nearby bushes.
The heartwarming rescue was captured on video, which was subsequently uploaded online and quickly went viral.
Viewers were touched by the woman’s compassion and bravery, particularly considering she had no expertise in animal rescue.
