Husky Hilariously Refuses To Give Up Front Seat
His “argument” is adorably convincing – and I’m pretty sure I heard him say “thank you” at the end.

When you’re planning to ride in a vehicle with a group, most would probably say they prefer the front seat. Regardless of whether it’s a short trip or a long drive – a lot of times passengers will race to call “shotgun” first, which is a classic way to secure the spot.

One pet owner discovered her dog really loves the front seat too. In fact, he loves it so much, he refused to give it up in the most hilarious way!

The husky in the video is named Zeus, and he has a reputation for being quite “stubborn.”

Even if you don’t own a Siberian husky, you might be familiar with how vocal they can be simply by cruising around online. Zeus is actually internet famous for his loud and adorable tantrums (like when he refused to come inside). So it makes sense why he’s officially known as “Zeus the Stubborn Husky.”

Zeus is a pooch that knows what he wants. One day, he decided to dig his heels in about sitting in the front seat.

The comical scene was filmed during a getaway in the Adirondacks. Mom flipped on her camera when she discovered Zeus had claimed shotgun and was unwilling to move his furry behind to the backseat. But even more, it’s his response that’s just too funny!

This guy doesn’t want to move.

Zeus is laying comfortably in the front seat next to a female driver. When mom tells him, “Get in the back,” he instead chooses to “talk back!” Using his cute husky voice, he starts whining like he’s a two-year-old toddler. You can almost hear him say, “But Mom…”

Wait, this isn’t right…

Since technically Zeus’ owner is the parent, the adult, AND the human – it seems appropriate that she gets to sit next to the driver. Apparently, he doesn’t see it that way though. Come on, Zeus, you can’t tell me you know how to control the radio!

The woman asks, “Am I supposed to ride in the back?” While we don’t know exactly what Zeus “says” in return, it seems safe to say that he agrees she should.

Tons of viewers have left funny comments expressing their opinions. One wrote:

“I don’t know, I have to side with the husky on this one. He had some pretty convincing points.”

Someone else said, “At least he’s not insisting on driving.” Another stated the truth:

“Hey he called Shotgun. You must honor the code of the road.”

This isn’t the only stubborn husky out there.

According to Hill’s pet website, stubbornness is a common personality trait in the breed. However, they’re also known for being intelligent and friendly too!

You can tell how smart Zeus is simply by watching the scene. After all, even he knows that the front passenger seat is the best seat in the house (unless you prefer to drive, of course).

It’s an entertaining tantrum where Zeus gets the last words.

His mom explains in the YouTube video description:

“Zeus the Stubborn Husky did NOT want to move to the back seat of the car since he felt he called dibs on the front seat. Getting him to move was NOT happening today! … Also, listen for him to say “ha ha” at the end of the video :)”

Dogs are man’s best friend and they’re even our furbabies. But would you give up the front seat for yours? Well, if you have a dog like Zeus, it might not be worth the “argument!”
