Dogs are like sour patch kids sometimes, they can be sour or sweet! When dogs get it in their minds to do something, they can be super sneaky as well. You never know what the dogs have in their mind when they get the urge to be sneaky.
Most breeds have a special characteristic about them.
For poodles, it’s the fact that they are hypo-allergenic. For pugs, it’s that signature smooshed face. Whatever the breed, they all have something special about them. Huskies are a particular breed with a wonderful and long history. One of the funniest and most peculiar of their “talents” is how vocal they are!
Huskies are one of the most vocal breeds out there.
Huskies can be “vocal” in the sense that they love to talk back to their humans. The AKC says:
Some dogs have a wider range of vocalizations than others. Rottweilers “purr,” Siberian Huskies“talk,” Shiba Inu “scream,” and Basenjis “yodel” instead of barking.
If you have ever been around a husky, you know exactly what they are talking about!
The breed has been caught on video talking and sometimes, singing!
Whether it’s just for fun or they are genuinely worried, you can almost guarantee that your husky is gonna be a bit chatty at times. When you combine the vocal nature and goofy behavior of the breed, you sometimes get some funny moments!
One woman captured her husky on-camera acting like a thief!
Starting off the video, we see a husky standing above a single shoe. Almost right away, we hear an owner’s voice letting us know what has been going on.
“I know you stole my shoe, go pick it up and bring it here.”
Right when she says this, however, the pup tries to defend himself!
Letting out a mini-howl, this husky doesn’t like being accused of a crime!
With some chirps, yelps, and howls, the husky lays out his defense for why he isn’t guilty. Watching the pup talk, you almost want to believe that he had nothing to do with it – almost…
This sneaky boi may be acting innocent, but his owner knows what up.
Nobody knows a dog better than their owners. For us casual internet viewers, this pup seems to be as innocent as apple pie. Alas, we have all fallen under his cute spell! After a command from his owner, he leaves the room.
Coming back a few seconds later, this pup “found” the shoe for his owner.
We may never know if this pup was truly guilty, will we? Maybe he just knew where it was and got it for her! There is no way that he actually stole the shoe, hid it, and then argued about it, right? If he did, that is one sneaky husky! This owner has to keep an eye on him!
Bringing the shoe right to her, he is happy with his work.
It seems that this husky has forgotten all about his crimes and wants to be rewarded for his work. Maybe that was his plan all along! Hide the shoe, wait for her to ask for it, play dumb, find the shoe, get a treat! That would make a lot of sense.
