Accidents happen all the time without us even knowing, especially for animals. It’s just sad if no one is there to save them on the brink of death. Luckily, these particular guys were at just the right place at the right time to save an animal in need.
These two guys are vloggers that document places they explore.
21-year-old Trevor Costelloe travels around San Diego to explore and film places that no one has ever seen before. Costelloe has gone around many places from creepy abandoned asylums to nature-filled places. He sometimes brings his buddy, Dave, to accompany him on his adventures.
This time, their adventures led them to an abandoned water park in San Diego.
Costelloe and Dave headed to a water park in San Diego that closed a decade ago or so. They first explored outside the vicinity and panned their camera over the huge water slide that coils around the area. They then went to have a closer look at the kiddie pool where they spotted a dog running down on the pavement towards the pool.
Later, they found a husky looking at something yet, they still had not realized that there was something going on near there. As Dave and Costelloe continued chatting, they noticed a second dog coming to the same location.
As the dogs saw the teenagers, they instantly ran towards them.
The dogs ran at them and Dave started backing up just in case the dogs would attack. However, the moment the pooch reached them, they realized that there was something troubling them. The dogs were trying to lead them to go behind the bushes.
Although the guys were a bit hesitant, they decided to follow the dogs.
They were surprised to see another dog struggling in the water.
The place was probably soaked because of the rain, and it filled up with water. When they went toward the place where the dogs led them, they saw a poor dog sticking its head out of the water. Upon seeing the struggling dog, Costelloe immediately placed his camera on the ground and went closer to pull the dog up.
He noticed that the pooch had no strength left, and if they came in a minute later, the dog would not have survived. Luckily, he was able to fish out the drowning dog out of the water to save its life.
The drowning dog’s friends were relieved to see their buddy safe.
The pittie was just anxiously watching Costelloe pull his buddy out of the water, and when Costelloe finally brought him back on land, the pittie and husky immediately ran towards to check on their friend. Costelloe and Dave slowly approached the dogs for the last time but the two had ran out ahead already.
However, the adorable pittie was wagging its tail with gratitude and even let his friend’s rescuers pet him before he ran to catch up with his friends.

Costelloe and Dave were fortunately there at just the right time. They could not even believe what they saw and recorded at that moment but they said that they were happy to save the dog’s life. The particular video was featured on The Dodo, and it got over 3.7 million views on YouTube.
