Dogs man, they’re just the best, aren’t they? They are seriously just so wholesome, they only want the best for people. The sheer love they hold in their hearts is unfathomable!
Well we got a perfect example of it again just recently!
In a video posted on Facebook,
a stray dog can be seen sharing so much love with a stranger!
Numan Ertuğrul Uzunsoy is an actor in Turkey. Uzunsoy is performing a play on the streets as he usually would, and
in his performance, his character falls off a horse!
You can see his castmates lowering him down in the image below!
“The character I played was injured and in great pain.” -Numan Ertuğrul Uzunsoy
The key here is that it was indeed the character Uzunsoy was playing that was injured, not Uzunsoy himself! I mean, even his castmates lowering him to the ground was gentle, there wasn’t really any opportunity for Uzunsoy to get hurt!
But his fantastic acting convinced at least one audience member…
Uzunsoy spends some time on the ground, doing what actors do best… Acting. His character is having trouble breathing, and in immense pain!
That’s when our concerned audience member decided to make his entrance!
(You can see him entering the frame at the top left of the image just below!)
Yes yes, the show must go on, of course! But this pup decided that before it goes on, he would check on the stranger who appears to be in a lot of pain!
The dog is clearly concerned for Uzunsoy’s well-being!
Uzunsoy, you can take comfort in this! You know that no matter what else happens, this dog was completely convinced that you were in danger!
The dog of course then tries to comfort Uzunsoy
“waking him up” from a rather painless painful slumber.
“I felt warmth on my face. First, I thought my costar was approaching me. I was very happy when I felt the dog’s kisses. I was very touched. He was like an angel who wanted to help me.
Uzunsoy could feel how much this dog cared about and wanted to help him!
“It was a very emotional moment for me. I was not expecting it.”
You can see in the video that Uzunsoy gets a big smile once he realizes what is happening!
From the sounds of the video, I don’t think anyone minded this sudden and brief intermission!
The crowd erupted with applause!
“My castmates loved the dog, and the audience was very happy. Everyone cheered.”
It was a momentary break in which one of the members of the cast took the dog off stage where (I hope they hung out for a bit and then) he eventually left, off to do more dog things like helping hurt people!
The experience made Uzunsoy want to give back to the would-be-saviour dog!
“The next day I went to the same place, looking for him. People told me he usually hangs out there. I went again today. I’ll look for him until I find him. I’ve always loved animals.”
His plan is to help the dog find a home as a way to repay the dog’s inherent kindness and genuine care for a stranger’s life!
It seems like a great plan to me!
