Delivery men must see some of the wildest things on their routes.
Over the course of a day, how many miles do they drive and how many doorbells do they ring?
With all that mileage it would only seem likely that they are going to see some wild stuff.
Sitting at home all day isn’t a recipe to see unlikely things happen!
If you want wild things to happen in your life, you probably need to get out and about – go to places you’ve never been before!
For a delivery guy, that part is pretty easy.
For one delivery man, in particular, it wasn’t if something wild happened to him, it was how would he respond?
Pulling up in that signature brown and yellow truck, we see a man hop out and head to the door.
Seeing an Amazon truck or a UPS truck usually gives us a jolt of excitement.
We wonder if our online order is here and if those jeans we saw on the website are actually going to fit how the site promised.
With all the modern technology nowadays, it’s even easier to see when they are going to arrive!
With Ring doorbells, you can literally watch the delivery man walk up to the door.
Ring, if you haven’t heard, is a doorbell camera that integrates with your phone and home security.
It’s pretty nifty for seeing who is coming up to your door and can add a layer of safety.
As the UPS man sits and waits at the door, something wild happens.
We see him ring the doorbell and sit patiently.
All of a sudden, a little head pops up on the brick behind his right shoulder – a squirrel is watching him!
As he stands there, he has ZERO idea that he is being watched.
Then, the squirrel makes its move.
With a quick jump, it lands right on his shoulder!
Incredibly, the man doesn’t freak out (although you can see the panic on his face).
He just leans forward and chuckles to himself as the squirrel gets on his hat.
With another leap, the furry friend is gone!
The entire thing was captured on a Ring!
As the door opens, the delivery man can’t help but laugh.
You know that he asked them for the footage of the incredible event.
Sometimes, those little moments happen and reminds us that nature can be so gentle (in the form of a squirrel, at least).
Most people wouldn’t have been quite so calm if a little animal jumped on them like that.
