Sometimes, all we need is a friend.
Life is filled with a mixture of tough and joyful times.
Sometimes, the happiness is overwhelming, but there can also be days when loneliness engulfs one’s heart.
Fighting the feeling of sadness is not easy, but it is not impossible.
A simple hello or a smile can make a lot of difference.
Having friends around makes the tough and lonely days much more bearable.
One dog showed the internet that winning the battle against loneliness is possible.
Eden is a stray dog and has always been a gentle soul.
She lived under a tree and fended for herself for a long time but never aggressively treated humans around her.
She used to live outside with only a tree covering her from the elements, and people that passed her by would give her food and water.
She fondly received the gifts she received and remained to be a friendly pup to anyone who wanted to be near her.
Eden was eventually saved from the harsh streets and is now in a shelter.
After being rescued by Logan’s Legacy, a dog shelter founded by Suzette Hall, she remained a sweet and friendly dog.
She may be living inside her cage now, but she always found a way to interact with others outside her kennel.
Suzette shared how Eden would refuse to leave her tree, but eventually, the shelter convinced the pup to leave the place and finally followed them to the rescue center.
“She knew she was getting help,” Suzette said. “She knew it was her time to stop living under the tree.”
Suzette brought the dog to the vet and got her the needed medical attention.
Eden was given a bath, and her medical issues were all addressed.
Because of her inconsistent diet, the dog became severely malnourished and was underweight.
Time passed, and Eden was slowly growing healthier and stronger.
She bloomed into a beautiful dog while patiently waiting for her forever family.
“She is the sweetest dog you could ever meet,” Suzette said. “She’s just a lover.”
One thing that the people in the shelter know about Eden is her friendliness.
Whenever someone passed her cage, Eden would always reach her paws out through the bars and hold the hand of anyone walking by.
She would always want to have physical contact with the visitors and will find ways to hold them.
“She just wants to hold our hand,” Suzette said. “She’ll hold your hand and then make the sweetest howl ever as if she’s saying, ‘I love you.’”
Eden is such a sweet pup.
She truly deserves to find her forever home, so Suzette and her team are working towards finding the perfect family for the dog.
The adorable pup’s affection and friendly attitude make everyone fall in love with her.
