If you’ve ever been considering getting a sheep for a pet, then this next video might help to convince you. Aside from being cute, fluffy, and not that much bigger than a dog, sheep are actually emotionally complex animals who are super smart, and a fun fact is that their wool will grow forever, meaning that you can stay extra toasty with them in the winter.
But sheep also have a super goofy side to them, as we’ve quickly discovered. And when a family from the Netherlands came across their pet sheep having a go on their trampoline, they knew instantly that they’d have to share this comical moment with us all. A sheep on a trampoline… need we say any more?
Bammie the pet sheep has free range of a family’s back yard in the Netherlands, which had allowed her to explore every nook and cranny of the area.
It turns out that sheep actually have a childlike spirit about them because when Bammie spotted the children’s trampoline, she couldn’t resist having a little go on it herself.
In the video, which was shared onto YouTube by Aww Network, we can see Bammie joyfully jumping up and down as she figures out what the trampoline is for. It’s no surprise that the adorable clip has received over 19.5 million views since being posted in April 2020, as we don’t think we’ve ever seen anything quite like it before!
The curious sheep paws at the trampoline with her hooves, before taking a hesitant jump – then another, then another. You can tell just how much she’s enjoying herself, and despite the video being only 34 seconds long, we can’t help imagining that she stayed on there all day!
The video is made all the more joyful by the man’s children, who laugh with glee as they watch the bouncing sheep. It’s truly one of those videos that warms up your heart, and we could watch this silly sheep on the family’s trampoline all day.

This video has certainly made our day, and we wonder if Bammie the sheep still uses the trampoline to this day. Something tells us that she does. Maybe she’s learned how to do a couple of somersaults now? We need an update!
