Many people, myself including, would tell you that we grew up with parents (or a dad) who said that we couldn’t have pets in the house. Those people, myself included, will also tell you that despite this, they grew up with pets in the house.
At one point or another over the years, we had a bird, fish, gerbils, three cats, and a dog.
Tanner, an adorable Maltese, will tell you the same thing. Tanner is the sassiest Southern Maltese that you’ve ever seen. He was so sassy that his mom, Jessica Lucas Young, started posting videoes of his hilarious antics.
One of his most famous videos is his explanation of how his family became so large.
It’s simultaneously both hilarious and adorable!
“I thought I’d tell ya’ll about how we came to be such a big family. Momma saw Joy at the animal shelter and she told Daddy that Joy was sad and had nobody to love her and so we need to take her in and he said ‘No, we have enough animals and so now we have Joy,” Tanner explains in his video.
“And then this little cat showed up on our back porch in the middle of winter and momma said ‘It’s cold outside and that cat is sick it needs some help,” and daddy said, ‘No, we have enough animals already,” and now we have a cat named Bale,” Tanner continues. “And momma said ‘Well, Bale needs someone to relate to, you know cat-to-cat,’ and daddy said, ‘No, we have enough animals already,” and so now we have a big orange cat named Boomer.”
But it didn’t stop there… they even got a Bucky!
“Then momma saw Bucky and said, ‘You know he’s sick and he needs some help too’ and daddy said ‘No, we have enough animals’ so now we have a Bucky.”
Then Tanner ups his sass factor to 100.
“And I’m just kind wondering what kinda animal we’re not gonna get next around here,” he said.
That video has more than 2.7 million views and has had just as many people in hysterics no doubt.
Now Tanner has his very own Facebook page where you can see all of his videos. He is just too cute and too funny. I could listen to sweet little voice all day!
You can see what I mean in the video below.
