Not only are dogs man’s best friend, they make for great babysitters too!
In an adorable video featured below, a Samoyed dog from China holds an electronic tablet for his owner’s baby so the baby can comfortably watch cartoons.
Just look at the poise and discipline of the dog. Clearly this is something he’s used to doing.
Perhaps one of the cutest parts of the video is how nonchalant the dog is about holding the tablet too. He doesn’t care to watch the cartoon, nor is he intrigued by the electronic device he is holding.
Instead, he knows that this makes his small human happy, and he’s more than happy to oblige.
The footage was filmed in Beijing in October of 2016. In it, the Samoyed seamlessly balances the tablet with one of his paws while calmly lying on the bed with the rest of his paws.
Samoyeds, a breed of large herding dog whose name comes from the Samoyedic peoples of Siberia, are particularly known for their thick, white, double-layer coat.
I’m sure that beautiful coat makes for an amazingly soft pillow when that baby gets tired from a fun day of watching cartoons.
That’s co-parenting done right.
