In Concordia, Kansas, a black Labrador named Bo, known for his adventurous spirit, gave his family a bit of a scare.
Bo, who loves exploring the open fields near his home, went missing during a routine potty break.
His family, the Kriers, were understandably worried.
Laura Krier, Bo’s human mom, shared with The Dodo, “We had been searching for him nonstop.”
The search for Bo continued through the night, with no sign of the beloved family pet.
However, the next day brought a glimmer of hope.
The Kriers received news of a dog matching Bo’s description spotted playing 6 miles away from home.
Eager to find their missing dog, the family set out to the location.
Kyle Krier, Bo’s human dad, was prepared for a straightforward rescue, but what he found in the field was anything but ordinary.
As he approached, he realized Bo wasn’t alone.
While filming, he explains:
“My black lab runs off last night – is gone all night. And look who I find him with? He’s got another dog with him… But oh wait, he’s got a goat in tow!”
Accompanying him were a dog named Ozzy and a goat named Libby, both neighbors of the Kriers.
Shawna Huggans, commenting on the trio’s escapade, said,
“It’s difficult to say if Bo the black Lab or Libby and Ozzy were the culprit in starting the adventure. But, nonetheless, they escaped. They’re pals for sure.”
The video captured by Kyle shows the three animals joyfully sprinting towards him upon hearing his call.
The sight of the three friends running together was a joyful one.
Both dogs leaped into Kyle’s truck with ease, and although Libby the goat lagged a bit behind, she too eventually hopped in with her pals.
Kyle found the entire situation so amusing that he shared the video online, where it quickly went viral.
Thank goodness he decided to hit the record button.
“It was one of those stories that you tell your family and friends and they don’t believe you,” Kyle shared with The Dodo.
“But then you watch the video and it totally happened.”
This incident was typical of Bo’s character, as described by his family.
Kyle describes Bo as a “funny” and “crazy” dog, brimming with energy and always up to something.
Despite his mischievous tendencies, Bo is also incredibly sweet, a trait that has endeared him to people both online and in real life.
The internet has fallen in love with Bo and his companions.
One YouTuber expressed a wish that many share: “Oh, how I wish this could somehow be turned into a series documenting the adventures of these three musketeers. It would be the most beloved show on TV.”
