There are plenty of things dogs can do to get away with anything, and that includes them showing you a face that you can’t help but laugh at!
We all set rules in the house for our pets
When keeping a pet at home, it’s always important to set ground rules so that they’d learn what’s good and what’s not. There are places that are off-limits for them, but when their “parents” are away, they get up to mischief.
If there are no rules like these, then you’re just letting your pet run free until you can’t do anything about it. Even so, let’s say you have enforced strict rules, they still have some tricks under their sleeves to trick you into letting them get away from breaking one.
An example is this cheeky Golden retriever breaking a common house rule
Most people don’t like their pets hanging out on their bed, or maybe even on the living room couch. Since they’re fine sleeping on the carpet, or perhaps they have their own bed, it’s just plain rude for them to take over the spot you had for yourself. A Golden retriever named Boo, and a couple of cats are indulging in a sweet life by chilling on their owner’s bed. Even though they weren’t allowed to, they’re still bold enough to make themselves comfortable on it.
The owner enters the room only to see this outrageous sight
Surprised, the man begins to interrogate his guilty dog by asking what she’s doing on the bed. The dog responded by greeting her owner with a wide, goofy smile, and nowhere did she show any signs of leaving the bed. In fact, the pooch just lazily crawls in front of her owner. Meanwhile, the cats thought that they were fine being there with him, not until their owner mentions them. One of the cats immediately hops out of the bed, but it seems the other one was just way too comfortable to listen to his ranting owner.
The guilty pooch kept her smile plastered on hoping Dad would let her be
The adorable Boo was just trying to be clever. She just can’t sprint away from the bed with a guilty feeling after getting caught, and she knew that she had to mosey herself out of this one by begging in a not-so-obvious way.
Of course, the owner knows what Boo was up to, but he can’t help but scold her in a gentle manner because of how the pooch showed her effort in trying to appeal to him. I mean, who could even yell at this adorable creature? You might just probably give up trying to.
Today, she still gets the bed
At the end of the video, her owner tells Boo, “Can’t smile yourself out of this one.” He didn’t realize how wrong he was. Five years after this video, he uploads another one, showing Boo on his bed once again. The man tried to do the same thing as before, only this time, Boo isn’t just as guilty anymore. In fact, she’s already acting like she owns the bed. Despite that, Boo receives some pets instead of a scolding. Finally, her owner tells her, “You can stay on the bed, it’s fine.”
