A Golden retriever was casually chilling at home when he suddenly heard an ambulance roaring its siren as it passed by their street. When he noticed the sound was getting nearer and nearer, the dog suddenly stood up and stared at the open window. The confused pooch then gave the first howl, although the pitch was quite low.
The pooch began to sing along to the sound of the siren
The siren has its sharp, wailing sound that disturbed the dog. Its high-pitched sound probably rang the dog’s eardrums, and he couldn’t help but howl in response to it. Although, instead of howling normally, this dog tried to match his howl with the siren’s pitch.
In fact, you could just hear the two sounds in unison.
This went on for about a few seconds until his owner calls him back. It’s obvious that he’s still bugged with the sound, but he might have thought that he could get some treats if he obediently followed his owner.

The difference between them is how this dog makes a wobbly howl. If the other one was matching its pitch, this one was trying his best to sound like an actual siren.

Because howling is canines’ one way of communicating, dogs must have thought the siren’s sound is similar to another dog’s howl, and they feel like returning it back to them.
