Guess what, dining out with your pup just got a whole lot easier thanks to these pet-friendly restaurants that have secret doggie menus!
Keep in mind that not every location offers these treats, so be sure to check ahead of time before you make dinner plans with your buddy-boo. It’ll help avoid those sad, puppy dog eyes that make you feel like a douche.
And remember, doggos can have food allergies and sensitivities just like we do. So always check with your vet to make sure that whatever you’re feeding them is safe.
Starbucks: The Puppuccino
The next time you hit the drive-thru for your Starbux fix, you can get something for your puppers, too! Just order a “puppuccino,” which is basically just an espresso-sized cuppa whipped cream.
If you’re too shy to ask for it by name, just tell the barista you’d like some whipped cream in a cup for your buddy-boo.
In-and-Out: The Pup Patty
The famous fast-food restaurant and its equally famous secret menu have a cult following among burger connoisseurs.
However, what most secret menu aficionados don’t realize is that there’s actually an option on there for doggos, too!
The next time you order a 4×4 mustard grilled with animal friends, don’t forget to add on a Pup Patty (a plain, salt-free hamburger) for your pooch.
Shake Shack: The Pooch-ini
This modern-day roadside burger stand has a cult following on the East Coast. Keep your pup from stealing your fries by ordering a Pooch-ini in a cup.
This frozen treat and doggy biscuit combo has become so popular that it’s even listed as a regular item on their menu.

Sprinkles Cupcakes: Pupcake
Yep, your pooch can have his cake and eat it too! Just ask for a “pupcake” for your doggo.
The bakery keeps dog-friendly, sugar-free treats with a yogurt-based frosting on hand for your fur-buddy.
Tim Hortons: Sugar-Free Timbits
Timbits are the Canadian-based chain’s answer to Dunkin’ Donuts Munchkins (both of which are just donut holes).
Tim Hortons has some sugar-free Timbits on hand for your pup, and if your dog happens to be with you, they’ve even been known to offer a treat to your fur baby for free!
Dairy Queen: The Pup Cup
Ask the cashier for the Pup Cup the next time you’re at the DQ getting your Blizzard fix. It’s a tiny serving of their famous vanilla soft-serve, and they may even throw in a doggy biscuit, too!
Sonic Drive-In: Milk Bones
When you pull in to a stall at Sonic and place your order, let them know you’ve got your dog with you. When the car hop comes out with your meal, it may include something extra for your doggy, like a Milk Bone treat!
Culvers: Frozen Custard
Like Sonic, some Culvers locations may offer your pup a Milk Bone if they see him sitting next to you in the drive-thru.
And if your doggo is super lucky, he may even get his treat double-dipped into a scoop of the chain’s famous frozen custard!
Chick-fil-A: Milk Bones
This fast-food chicken chain is famous for its stellar customer service – for both people and their pets!
Many drive-thru windows keep a box of Milk Bones for all the good doggies that politely bark “please.”
Johnny Rockets: Doggie Hamburgers
This 1950’s style diner has some of the best burgers, fries, and shake around town, which is why so many customers (and their dogs) are loyal to the brand.
Staff will happily whip up a plain hamburger patty for your pup (for a fee), and at select locations, you can even order him some treats like a Lickety-Split or pupcake.
