In the aftermath of a devastating house fire, two dogs, a majestic Great Dane named Oma and a gentle Tosa Inu named Sakura, found themselves abandoned and alone.

As rescuers arrived at the scene, they were immediately greeted by the imposing presence of Oma.
Though initially cautious, they soon realized that beneath her large stature was a friendly and approachable demeanor.

Sakura’s condition was concerning.
She lay still, showing signs of distress, but her gentle nature shone through. Even in her vulnerable state, she allowed the rescuers to approach and examine her without any resistance.

Upon closer inspection, Sakura’s paws were found to be burnt, a painful reminder of the fire they had escaped.

The dogs had been used for breeding, and their owner, overwhelmed by circumstances, believed it was in the dogs’ best interest to be surrendered for rescue.
