Since the widespread use of the internet, coming up with an original idea seems impossible to do. If you think of an idea, one google search is enough to show you that you weren’t the first person to think of it. Or even the second!
Thankfully, originality usually comes second to intentionality, especially when it comes to proposals!
Proposals are a big deal for everyone involved. Some people opt for a simple dinner and a quick pop ‘o the knee, while others spend months planning the perfect moment. For one man, it was a little bit… hairy!
While this probably isn’t the first time anyone has used a dog to propose, it is one of the cutest!
Like we mentioned before, proposals are all about being intentional! Do your absolute best and she will love it, guaranteed. For this guy, his absolute best involved a puppy and a special note.
At the start of the video, we see a guy and his friend in their truck, pulling up to the girl’s house.
We don’t have their names or much info about them, but we don’t really need it. All you need to know is that the guy in the grey shirt is about to propose! His proposal had a special element, however – the gift of a puppy.
Getting out of the truck, he walks around and grabs the CUTEST chocolate lab from the passenger side!
Like any normal person would, the girl gets a glimpse of the pup and starts crying immediately. Getting a puppy together as a puppy is a big step and means a whole lot!
The chocolate lab has a little pink bow on her and is adorable as can be.
For most, the gift of a puppy is about all the emotion you can take for one day! It’s a rollercoaster as you realize your heart is going to expand as you add a little life into your family. What the girl didn’t know, however, was that the puppy had a secret message attached to her.
Picking the pup off the ground, the woman cuddles the sweet dog and sobs.
She is obviously excited to have a new dog in the family. The guy knows that is only the beginning, however. Using a new puppy was a great idea because it gave everyone a reason to have their phones out without tipping her off.
The guy tells her to, “Look at the tag” over and over until she finally does.
When she finally does, it isn’t a name she finds, it’s a note! WILL YOU MARRY ME? When she finally sees it, it’s all waterworks again. With the second round of tears falling, the guy gets down on one knee and pops the question. With the emotion of having a new puppy in her arms and a ring on her finger, there is no way she will ever forget the moment.
