Dogs seem to have a sixth sense when it comes to knowing if their parents or siblings are coming home. They’ll be waiting by the door, ready to jump excitedly once the door opens.

And the feelings are mutual.

Dog parents don’t want to be away from their fur babies. But they need to work so they can give their dogs the best life they deserve.

But any dog parent will tell you it’s hard to be away from them, especially for 10 hours, five days a week. But there’s a solution for that!

Install an indoor camera in your home.

Technically, these are security cameras similar to a CCTV system. And they also work as monitoring cameras to check if your pets are safe and secure.

In this video, a male voice booms out of the camera calling for Bella.

A few seconds later, a four-legged furry animal runs out from the kitchen and behind the couch. Oh, this is Bella! Bella stops in the middle of the living room, looking for her dad, Scott.

She can hear his voice but where is he? Her head moves from side to side, trying to figure out where her dad was hiding.

Amused, Scott continued to talk.

“Bella, where were you? Are you getting in trouble?” Scott continued.

Scott’s got one smart Bella because she almost figured out which direction the voice was coming from. She ran in the direction of the camera but still doesn’t see Scott. He spoke again and told her he’s coming home soon.

Bella followed the sound of his voice and found the camera. She found her dad!

She jumped up to face the camera and gave her dad wet kisses.

β€œI thought it was pretty cute how she was looking for me and then found the camera I was speaking to her from,” Scott shared.

The viewers loved Bella!

“Sweet girl found her daddy’s voice then gave him a kiss. So darling,” Pluviophile said.

Yes, Bella gave her daddy so many kisses!

And some saw good and bad things about indoor security cameras.

“What a sweetheart. I wouldn’t get anything done because I would be talking to my dog all day long,” Ann S predicted.

We’re pretty sure your dog will love that!

Have you ever thought of installing an indoor security camera or a pet camera to keep an eye on your dog (or pets) while you’re gone?

It’s a really great idea for three reasons.

1. For security

With an indoor camera, you’ll know what your pet or family member are doing when you’re away. You’ll be able to figure out who scratched the couch, knocked over the vase, or made a mess. You’ll also know if there’s an intruder in your house or an unwanted visitor.

2. You’ll know if someone is sick

An indoor camera can help you analyze or study any behavioral pattern your dog may experience when they get sick. You’ll be able to go back through the footage and check if your dog ate something or when it started. You’ll be able to check if they have other symptoms, which the vet will very much appreciate.

3. Constant interaction with your dog

Dogs know when their humans are gone for a long time. So to be able to interact with your dog while you’re gone is such a treat for you and for them. Remember why you need to be at work though because you might just spend the entire time at work talking to your dog.
